Treyarch to unveil Zombie mode? Twitter/Treyarch

Fans are sitting tight and holding on to their hats for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," predominantly for its Zombie mode. However, game developer Treyarch and publisher Activision are not ready to give fans a foretaste of the much-awaited cannibalistic spectacle just yet. Fortunately, it won't take them that long.

The game studio will finally give a preview of the most sought-after gameplay mode during the San Diego Comic-Con next month. The website for the convention lists that an exclusive first look of the flesh-eaters in force will be shown on July 9 from 1-2 p.m. at Room 6BCF. A teaser from Treyarch also sealed the said date.

There will only be 110 seats available at the event and to secure one, the website recommends gamers to "get there early." Attendees will not only be treated to an ultimate zombie experience as they will also get to take home limited edition Zombies memorabilia only available at the Comic-Con.

Jason Blundell, the director for the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Zombie mode, will unveil "Treyarch's new mind-bending tale of the undead" and its "star-studded cast" during the one-hour affair. Treyarch and Activision will also provide details about the game's collector's editions.

Announcing the title back in April, Treyarch did not shy away from announcing the inclusion of a Zombie mode that studio head Mark Lamia revealed would feature a "totally different setting." While the developer doesn't reveal much about the game, Treyarch recently showcased a gameplay video for the rapid-fire multiplayer mode of the shooter.

"Call of Duty: Blacks Ops 3" will be released for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 6.
