'Batman vs Superman' movie plot news: Potential Flash, Aquaman cameos

Jason Momoa as Aquaman Warner Bros.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is going to focus heavily on the conflict between the two titular superheroes but there are other characters confirmed to be in the film, such as Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa's Aquaman, and Ezra Miller's Flash. A new report finally details the roles the latter two might have in the film.

According to Heroic Hollywood, there will be a scene in the film where Batman (Ben Affleck) will break into Lex Luthor's (Jesse Eisenberg) LexCorp facility to hack into the company's surveillance videos. He will see a recording of The Flash, seen only as a blur, stopping a robbery. This cameo was previously detailed by the Daily Superhero.

Aquaman will reportedly be shown being held captive in a LexCorp chamber. The report states that Aquaman's hand will be shown slapping the glass, indicating he is trying to break out. The report indicates that Lex Luthor is probably studying the different "meta-humans," human beings with super powers.

According to the report, Aquaman's imprisonment might connect with the story of "Suicide Squad" which is allegedly going to take place between "Man of Steel" and "Batman v Superman."

The details prove that the film is not going to be "over stuffed" with superheroes as some fans fear and will indeed focus on Batman and Superman. Wonder Woman's role in the film has not yet been detailed but fans speculate she will have a larger role compared to the other members of the Justice League.

Cyborg is also in the film and is to be played by Ray Fisher but no official news has been released regarding his role in the film. A report from Screen Rant points out that there is also no mention of Green Lantern, one of the founding members of the Justice League.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.
