"Batman: Arkham Knight," the final installment in the "Batman: Arkham" series, is reportedly shaping up to be a title any game developer would like to have as an ending to a successful video game series.

With just a couple of months away from its official release, game director Sefton Hill found it best to drop some hints and teasers about the upcoming game, all for excitement's sake. Hill has been rather generous in doing so, and his Twitter feed is full of great stuff about the title. The beauty of the game is promised by the fact that Rocksteady has worked "longer and harder" than it ever did on the previous titles.

From the massive explorations in a bigger and more detailed Gotham City to the storylines that tie the Caped Crusader to his pack of enemies and to the integration of a whole host of armaments and gadgets players can use during combat, the final installment has, indeed, been crafted without restraint.

There is so much to see in the game, particularly the Batmobile, which Hill called "the ultimate in fast travel." This alone separates "Batman: Arkham Knight" from its predecessors, which relies on Batman's grappling hook as players find their way around the crime-plagued city.

Hill also mentioned that a trailer for a game should be up soon and he promised that before this week ends, a date for the trailer release will be announced. And with the game almost complete, it's unlikely to be a long wait.

Furthermore, Rocksteady is already working on the finishing touches, and Hill promises that it's "not long before you can all #BeTheBatman." After all, Rocksteady Social Marketing Manager Gaz Deaves revealed that that is the goal.

"We've got one central goal that unites everything we do at Rocksteady: make the player feel like they are the Batman," Deaves told GamingBolt. "Free Flow Combat is a big part of creating that feeling, and we've spent a lot of time looking at ways to supercharge that experience for the player."

That means that players can use the environment like "dropping a ceiling light" or pulling an air conditioning unit off the wall for a quick knockout." He also added that Batman can also confiscate weapons from baddies, showing the fact that he is "a fighter who can use his brain just as well as his fists."

"Batman: Arkham Knight" will be released on June 23.
