'The Bachelorette 2015' episode 6 spoilers: Nick Viall and others sent home; did Kaitlyn spoil season's ending?

Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe ABC

There are 12 guys remaining, but the next episode of "The Bachelorette 2015" will send three of them packing. The circle of suitors includes Nick Viall, who recently joined the competition to capture Kaitlyn's heart.

[Spoiler Alert!] According to spoilers, Nick gets a rose from a group date and impresses Kaitlyn by singing to her on a balcony. Ben Higgins and Shawn Booth also score a one-on-one date with Kaitlyn that ultimately impresses the dance instructor, and they are safe, at least until next week.

Meanwhile, one contestant decides to leave the show when hesitation takes its toll. Ian Thompson is confronted with uncertainty about everything that's going on and ends up cutting his search for love short and heads home.

On elimination night, Kaitlyn sends Joshua Albers and Justin Reich home. So, by the end of the episode, there are only nine guys left.

Meanwhile, Kaitlyn caused a social media storm recently by allegedly spoiling the ending for the season. The bachelorette posted a couple of Snapchat photos of her and Shawn Booth in bed. The posts were swiftly taken down but many viewers and fans managed to save copies of the images.

Media outlets are uncertain whether or not this is another stunt from the series to get more people to tune in. Prior to the blunder, there were speculations that Kaitlyn went home still single after filming "The Bachelorette" season 11. The pictures, however, indicate that Kaitlyn may have ended with one of the guys after all. Moreover, the snaps show that they are still together months after the show finished filming.

Did Kaitlyn really get engaged with Shawn Booth? "The Bachelorette 2015" will eventually answer that. For now, episode 6 of the series will air Monday, June 15.
