Fans are eagerly waiting for the continuation of the "Attack on Titan" anime adaptation, taken from the original manga series "Shingeki no Kyojin." While details about its season 2's premiere are yet to be announced, a recent interview with Hajime Isayama, creator of the manga, may have given clues as to what will happen in the continuing struggle between humanity and the Titans.

According to Yibada, Isayama gave a recent interview where he subtly hinted at some developments in the series. The interview was reportedly with Japanese magazine "Gekkan Shingeki no Kyojin."

Isayama reportedly dropped hints on several characters' fates, particularly Ymir. According to the creator, Ymir was supposed to be a mysterious one and although her character holds many mysteries, she only appeared briefly in both the manga and anime adaptations. In the ongoing saga, Ymir's last appearance is toward the end of the "Clash of Titans" arc.

However, although her appearances are sporadic, Ymir will supposedly play a pivotal role in the story.

Isayama was quoted as saying, "The current Ymir's characteristics -- as someone who gives useful advice to Christa, and as the bearer of a secret that will be revealed as the story progresses -- were initially planned for Sasha's role."

The industry follower predicted that the mystery and secret have something to do with intimate details on the true nature of Titans and what happened in the past between humans and their enemies.

Meanwhile, it is still not known if season 2 of the anime adaptation of "Attack on Titan" will closely follow the events of the original manga. According to some speculations, the anime creators may end the series with season 2. This would mean that there will be some surprise twists in the story to bring "Attack on Titan" to a close.
