Star City was left with just Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell ) a.k.a. Green Arrow and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) a.k.a, Overwatch by the end of the last season. Two skipped town (Diggle and Thea), and one of their colleagues died (Laurel). However, the upcoming season will bring in three replacements that will help curb crime in their hometown.

It was previously reported that "Chicago PD" actor Josh Segarra will be joining Oliver's crew and will play as the Vigilante, known as Adrian Chase. He works as a district attorney by day.and a vigilante by night.

Entertainment Weekly reported that Rick Gonzalez ("War of the Worlds," "Coach Carter" and "The Rookie") will be playing Wild Dog. He is a war veteran and a former football star player back in college. Since he is a former U.S. Marines, he is familiar with several firearms and hand-to-hand combat, though he is known to carry a machine gun most of the time.

Comic fans are also aware that he suffered a knee injury during college, which cost him his scholarship, and his squad was almost wiped out by a terrorists bomb during his stints as a military personnel.  He wears nothing fancy during vigilante works. He sports a camouflage pants, a State University T-shirt and a hockey mask, plus a lightweight armor underneath his clothes.  He spends his day as an auto-mechanic.

Evelyn Sharp (Madison McLaughlin) will be returning in the fifth season of "Arrow," but will be known from here on as Artemis. She was in the series last season as the Black Canary impersonator, Variety reported.

She is known to replace Speedy, as Oliver's sidekick, not to mention that she is also the youngest vigilante in town in the comics.

Fans are excited to see the archers back in action with their new recruits.  However, it is not known yet if the show will follow the path of the comics series.

"Arrow" season 5 premieres on the CW on Oct. 5, Wednesday.
