Users of the HTC One M9 Developer Edition can now enjoy Android 5.1 Lollipop, which is currently rolling out to the device over the air. The update is quite hefty at 795 MB as it puts the firmware up to version 2.6.651.11 and brings in quite a few essentials for the device's overall improvement.
It is recommended to use a Wi-Fi connection to download the big update, and the battery should at least be charged at 50 percent before pushing through with the installation in order for the switch to be nothing but buttery smooth.
Once the new software is up and running, users will notice that call and data performance is much better in their HTC One M9 Developer Edition. In addition, the update contains tweaks that improves its battery life so users can enjoy their handset longer.
