The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge stand to benefit a lot from the Android Lollipop 5.1 update, particularly when it comes to the main 16MP camera it comes with.

Not that the main camera for both models leave a lot of desired since they seem to be doing fine are not drawing much complaints so far. But then again, a new feature wouldn't hurt especially if it means moving the camera closer to a DSLR-like feel.

This should be welcome news to people who love to snap shots without having to buy a DSLR camera separately. Of course nothing beats using an actual DSLR but if your phone can come close to one then why not?

Upon application of the Android 5.1 update, S6 and S6 Edge owners will be able to shoot RAW formats and manage the low-light imaging output with lower ISO.

Those seem to be in store for S6 and S6 Edge cameras though there is reportedly a clamor for more DSLR features shut as shutter speed controls which play an important part for picky happy snappers.

As it is, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have a suitable camera without DSLR features for now. The update, which is expected to start rolling out by next month should be something to look forward to.

That added feature should be something to look forward to aside from the other fascinating specs the Samsung phones carry.

That includes fast charging capability, a home button that also serves as the fingerprint reader to unlock the device and a power packed inside which is made up of octa-core Exynos processors, 3GB of RAM and choice of 32 up to 128GB of internal storage.

All that paired with a chance to use your device's camera on a DSLR kind of style seems something interesting to see and all that happens next month so watch out for it.
