WWE SummerSlam 2015 rumors: Three WWE Legends in attendance?

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) SummerSlam is an annual WWE event that is rated second to Wrestlemania; so don't be surprised if the WWE pay-per-view (PPV), which will take place on Aug. 23, will come packed with electrifying events, revelations, and WWE legends.

Last week, there were many who were speculating that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson would be around. The rumors started to hum when the Rock's cousin, Roman Reigns, sort of hinted that the WWE Legend and film star could make a surprise appearance next week. A related post may be viewed here.

That of course remains as a rumor and in the WWE world, anything is possible.

Now, two names have been added to that list — Steve Austin and Kevin Nash.

There is no word on whether or not the Rattlesnake will indeed be in town; and for now, there are no plans tying up Austin to a possible appearance. If ever, Austin could be there to promote the upcoming WWE game — the WWE 2K16.

A third WWE legend who could make an appearance is Kevin Nash. Big Daddy is reportedly in New York for some company commitments, although it is unclear if Diesel would be around (or have the time) to make a surprise appearance at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the venue for the WWE SummerSlam.

Although there is no confirmation if Nash would be at the actual PPV, Cageside Seats confirms that the former WWE champion will likely be around during the meet and greet.

With a filled card already, the addition of these WWE Legends would be fantastic. They will be in New York but don't get excited just yet. They may or may not be around when WWE SummerSlam kicks off, but at least fans could hope for them to appear even for just a little bit.

The WWE Network will air the PPV live on Aug. 23 at 7 p.m. EST.
