The K-LOVE Fan Awards is one of the biggest events in the Christian entertainment industry, and this year, the brother singing tandem of Luke and Joel Smallbone from For King & Country emerged as the biggest winner, receiving the awards for Group/Duo of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Best Live Show during the awards show on Sunday at the iconic Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

When Luke accepted the awards, he became emotional and revealed that he was not completely well yet following his recent illness, but he was still standing strong because he had complete faith in "the Healer."

The Smallbone brothers managed to beat other big names in the industry such as Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Newsboys, Tenth Avenue North, and Third Day.

Meanwhile, Francesca Battistelli was recognized as Female Artist of the Year, besting other contenders such as Kari Jobe, Natalie Grant, Jamie Grace, Mandisa, and Plumb.

The award for Male Artist of the Year went to Chris Tomlin, who beat Colton Dixon, Crowder, Jeremy Camp, Matthew West, and Steven Curtis Chapman.

Song of the Year went to "We Believe" by the Newsboys, while Worship Song of the Year was "How Can It Be" by Lauren Daigle.

The awards show featured special awards such as the Book Impact Award, which went to Lysa Terkeurst. NFL star Benjamin Watson took home the Sports Impact Award.

The faith-based series "A.D. The Bible Continues," which was created by producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, took home the Film and Television Impact Award.

The Christian artists present during the show remembered and paid tribute to the late gospel singer, songwriter, and record producer Andrae Crouch, with Steven Curtis Chapman singing "To God be the Glory" and "Soon and Very Soon" to honour Crouch's memory.
