Filming for the second half of "Vikings" season 4 is over, and with the series not set to return until the end of next month, cast member Katheryn Winnick is happy to help fans get by.

The actress, who plays Lagertha in the hit period drama series, actively shares tons of behind-the-scenes photos and clips on her Instagram while shooting the second half of "Vikings" season 4 as well as for season 5.

Winnick recently posted a couple of videos showing the filming and the mind-blowing production efforts behind an epic battle set to take place in "Vikings" season 5.

The first video featured two armies charging against each other in slow motion. The axes and swords were flying and the shields waving as the troops rally at the middle of the theater of war to fight a big fight.

"Epic day on set. Big thank you to our amazing background actors and stunt men [and] women who gave it their all this week on the battlefield," Winnick captioned the clip.

The other "Vikings" behind-the-scenes clip showed the moments before the two hordes met, with one group doing their battle cry as they ran towards the field to wage war.

Needless to say, before fans can move on to the fifth season, the second half of "Vikings" season 4 will be unfolded first. The clips, however, suggest that the Vikings are yet to run out of battles to fight.

The latter "Vikings" season 4 episodes will chronicle the repercussions brought about by Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) being in Kattegat and Lagertha's plot of revenge on Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland).

Ivar the Boneless (Alex Hogh Andersen) will begin his preparation as the next king while his brother, Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig), is traveling to the Mediterranean.

"Vikings" season 4 returns with episode 11 on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 9 p.m. ET on the History Channel.
