URC re-launches Reform magazine

Reform, the national magazine of the United Reformed Church, has been re-launched with a new editor, a new design, and a new mix of content.

It follows an extensive review in which more than a thousand readers, and many non-readers, took part.

Editor Kay Parris said, "It will be a cracking read for thinking people. Churchgoers today have a complex relationship with faith. They expect to read engaging, thought-provoking, challenging material and to encounter views and interpretations they can agree with, or disagree with."

Reform has been produced for 35 years and has enjoyed a strong reputation, both within and beyond the United Reformed Church. It currently has around twenty thousand readers. Sixty thousand copies of the re-launch issue are being produced and will be distributed to all churches.

Kay Parris added, "Our readers have told us they want a mix of intellectual stimulation and lighter moments.

"They want engagement with the social and political realities of life from a Christian perspective, and they want the chance to 'book appointments' with favoured regular columnists.

"We are determined to give our readers all this and more."
