Finally, fans have an idea of who the mystery crossover character will be in the much-awaited mash-up between the "The Walking Dead" and the "Fear The Walking Dead." Lennie James, the actor who plays Morgan, revealed his thoughts on his coming appearance to the other show.

The announcement was revealed on Sunday, and James narrated how he took in the news of his leaving of the mother show, "The Walking Dead."

"I've said my goodbyes to the cast and stuff, and I've said my goodbyes to the crew, but I would just like to say about the crew — because as actors, we take all the bows — but actually that show stands or falls pretty much on the back of that crew. They're an amazing bunch of people and I'm going to miss them very, very, very much," he revealed.

He admitted that the hardest part of the news was his departure from the show to move on to the next chapter with "Fear The Walking Dead," which has taken to set in Texas. This was understandable, though. After all, Morgan is only one of the three that survived from walkers since the pilot episode of "The Walking Dead."

The pilot episode also included survivors and father and son Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs). Later in the first season, they were joined by Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), who are both surviving as per the latest episode of "The Walking Dead."

Fans first had a glimpse of Morgan during the early days of AMC's post-apocalyptic series "The Walking Dead," when Rick had no wind yet of what was happening in the world. Morgan helped Rick and took him in his house, where the leaders met Morgan's son, Duane Jones (Adrian Kali Turner).

"The Walking Dead" season 10 airs every Sunday, at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
