It is without a doubt that Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is one of the most anticipated titles next year. However, reports are saying that the upcoming title might come at a later date in 2017.

It was previously revealed that the newest chapter in "The Legend of Zelda" franchise would be released in March 2017. However, based on reports currently making their rounds online, it may well seem that fans of the series will have to wait a bit longer as it is said that the game won't be seeing the light of day until summer of next year.

According to recent news, the game developer is as of late porting the upcoming game to be deemed playable on Nintendo's equally anticipated game platform, the Switch. Moreover, reports claim that the company is painstakingly transferring the title's data and content for it to be read by the Switch's system.

Meanwhile, there are also fan theories that have been surrounding the game since it was made known to fans back in 2013. It was mentioned that the new game will be like a leveled up version of the first "The Legend of Zelda" title that was released over three decades ago. This was rumored due to the tune that was used in the recently released teaser trailer. Fans noticed that it is the same melody that can also be heard in the original game though it was slowed down a bit.

In addition, the Nintendo Switch first-look video may have also provided hints on what to expect from the inbound title. Reports say that the creature that Link is battling is one of the bosses from the previous game titled "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening."

Nintendo has remained mum about the official rollout of the game so fans are advised to keep themselves updated with the recent news about it.
