'The 100' season 3 spoilers, cast rumors: Lexa will return to the show

Lexa The CW

The last episode of "The 100" season 3 saw the death of Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey), but a report from TV Line confirms that the character may be featured in a future episode. However, this does not entirely mean she will be seen alive and well.

"I won't say whether this is the last time we'll see her or not, but there is a flame inside the Commander's head, which contains the memories and/or minds of the previous Commanders," stated showrunner Jason Rothenberg. Seeing the way it comes out of her head in Episode 7, we should think it's probably a technology that is to be believed."

Rothenberg continued to explain that Lexa will play a major part in the story arcs revolving the Grounders' political story as well as the plot revolving around A.I.

In regards to the decision of killing off Lexa, Rothenberg confirmed that one of the major reasons was because of scheduling conflicts. The actress is primarily busy with her role in "Fear the Walking Dead" and Rothenberg explained he had to go through a lot in order for AMC to lend the actress over to shoot as many episodes as they did.

A report from Melty also confirms that Lexa will appear physically on the show, although it is unclear if this is indeed a moment using the aforementioned flame chip or if it involves the City of Light. According to the report, leaked photos of the production reveal Alycia Debnam-Carey filming scenes that have not yet been aired.

The photo, which was released via Twitter back in January, showcases Lexa speaking to Clarke (Eliza Taylor) but the latter is wearing her attire from season 2, further causing confusion as to when and where in the story this scene takes place in.

"The 100" season 3 will continue with episode 8 airing tonight on the CW.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
