Days before the much-awaited return of the 80s-themed series "Stranger Things," Netflix released the titles for the second season, making their huge fan base scrambling for meaning behind these.

Will Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) come back to the real world? Is Will (Noah Schnapp) part-human, part-demogorgon? These are just some of the questions left hanging after the first run of the hit thriller sci-fi show "Stranger Things." In the recently released trailer in the Twitter account of the show, it can be noted that some of the titles for the second season had been changed.

Season 2's episode titles are "Madmax," "Trick or Treat Freak," "The Pollywog," "Will the Wise," "Dig Dug," and "The Spy." Episodes 7 to 9 were not revealed, adding to the many things to decode about the show. Fans, who might have been trying to tie up the loose ends of the first season, are now back to the drawing board after the initial list of titles for this season had been mostly changed.

Aside from "The Pollywog" and "Madmax," other titles, supposedly for this upcoming season, that were originally announced last year were "The Boy Who Came Back to Life," "The Pumpkin Patch," "The Palace," The Storm," "The Secret Cabin," The Brain," and "The Lost Brother."

The second season of "Stranger Things" will span nine episodes, as opposed to the first's eight chapters. The Duffer brothers are also back as writers-creators of the Emmy nominee series.

"Stranger Things" season 1 left a huge cliffhanger. What looked like a happy ending for Joyce (Winona Ryder) as her son Will returns from The Upside Down is just the start of Will's mysterious state. Eleven was gone but Chief Hopper (David Harbour) continued to leave food possibly for Eleven, which had gotten fans' hopes up.

"Stranger Things" season 2 will return on Netflix on Friday, Oct. 27.
