Fans of the game "Star Wars: Battlefront II" have recently seen a problem with Rey's lightsaber suddenly disappearing. Thankfully, the recently-released patch 0.2 fixes the issue.

The update was an answer to issues initially encountered upon by players since the release of "Star Wars: Battlefront II" on Nov. 17. "We have also made major improvements to our games stability and performance across all platforms to make the gameplay experience better for everyone," the developer, DICE, said in a news release.

The update also brought an improvement to a variety of small problems. It cut the time by half, from 10 seconds to 5 seconds, for spawn wave timer on Strike. It fixed an issue with footprints leaving odd marks on the ground. DICE also addressed annoying bug issues that froze "Star Wars: Battlefront II" when players paused the game during zone changes.

Generally, patch 0.2 of the game would help save players' data even if the game started with no controllers connected. Aside from these, typographical errors, such as the Trooper Milestone information, have been corrected. Some of the misspelled words in other languages were addressed as well. Overall, the update enhanced the game's performance.

The developers also assured everyone that their voices would be heard with regards to the improvements in the game and encouraged everyone to give their feedback in forums.

This update came after issues with microtransactions that allegedly paved the way for an unfair environment in the game, leaving the developers to shut microtransactions before the release of the game. The team has since then apologized for this and announced that progression would just be earned.

"Star Wars: Battlefront II" is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
