'Sister Location' news: 'Five Nights at Freddy's' spin-off revealed

Sister Location Scott Games

Scott Cawthon, creator of the "Five Nights at Freddy's" horror video games, has once again altered the official website of the series with a new image that teases what is speculated to be a fifth title in the franchise. However, instead of being a sequel, the game is a spin-off, with the title "Sister Location."

The teaser image also has a tagline, which reads, "There was never just one," indicating that the new game is not set in the same location as the previous four titles. It is undetermined if this means the game is set in a "Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria" somewhere else in the country or if it is an entirely different restaurant chain that is connected to the infamous pizza place.

It is also unclear what the time period of the game is, although many fans speculate that it may be set in the modern day, potentially allowing some of the animatronics from the older "Five Nights at Freddy's" games to make an appearance. This would suggest that the older location has been shut down and the animatronics may have been moved to the new business.

While all of this is still speculation until Cawthon reveals more information and a trailer, the teaser image does showcase a sinister-looking animatronic in the background. The image is unlike any of the ones used in previous games, hinting that "Sister Location" will have a different batch of animatronics haunting the restaurant.

The first "Five Nights at Freddy's" launched for the PC back in 2014 and has since been ported to the mobile devices. Three sequels have since been released and an RPG spin-off, titled "FNAF World," was also launched for the PC. The latter was pulled from the Steam store due to negative feedback and was re-released with slight improvements.

No release date has yet been announced for "Sister Location."

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
