"Incredible." This was how co-star Gilles Marini, who plays Dante, described Kim Cattrall's (Samantha) role in HBO's hit comedy series "Sex and the City." The "Switched at Birth" actor also explained why Cattrall's decision should be respected.

Marini, in an interview with the US Weekly, defended his former on-screen partner's decision to refuse on the third movie. The 41-year-old actor explained that everyone was entitled to their own choices with their own reasons and added that "the show was phenomenal, and with Kim in it, it became incredible."

Cattrall, who played a PR agent, recently denounced rumors that she was the reason for the "Sex and the City's" third movie cancellation. She also slammed other co-stars in the show, namely Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw), Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes) and Kristin Davis (Charlotte York Goldenblatt), revealing that "they were never friends."

Marini denied any bad blood between the stars of "Sex and the City" during their production. But, he went on to clarify that connections in the set and production do not usually translate to genuine relationship off-cam. "She had a work friendship with them, versus a friendship friendship, and I experience that myself on different shows," he said.

He also said that another "Sex and the City" movie would not be the same without Cattrall, but he clarified that the studio could opt to get a replacement. Cattrall declined the offer of a third "Sex and the City" movie, which was when rumors started saying that the 61-year-old actress was supposedly listing ridiculous demands before signing the deal.

Cattrall went all-out in her interview to shed light on what really had transpired that had resulted in the cancellation of the movie. She also dropped major bombs, like calling her relationship with Parker "toxic."
