Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 release date, specs: flagship tablet in the works in India?

For about a couple of weeks or so, rumors came out that Samsung might no longer be releasing the Galaxy Tab S3, owing to the fact that it has already been a very long wait for those who are anticipating its launch. However, that perception is about to change with the latest news that the device is heading to India for development.

The information came from import/export tracker Zauba. In the listing, the tablet device came with a model number of SM-T825 which interestingly does not belong to any existing Samsung device that's already out on the market.

According to Trusted Reviews, the price of the Samsung SM-T825, as revealed by Zauba, is pretty much in the same range to that of the typical Samsung flagship tablet device. For starters, the Galaxy Tab S3 is touted by observers as the next-generation flagship tablet for the South Korean electronics giant.

The release of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has been one of the most awaited events by Samsung fans this year, and while the company was embroiled in controversy due to the exploding batteries of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phablet, 2016 could also be remembered as the year when the follow-up to the Galaxy Tab S2 was not released. Now it has to be very disappointing having to rebuild the company's reputation as one of the top names in this segment of the mobile device industry, but a launch in the first quarter of next year could very curb that emerging frustration from loyal fans and followers of the company's lineup of tablet devices.

The ideal window for the launch will be during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this January 2017. If not, Samsung is known to always bring in its best products during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, which by the way is happening in February 2017.
