The rumor mill is doing nonstop churning about the Samsung Galaxy S7, the South Korea-based tech firm's next flagship. So far, the buzz has been majorly about the variants the tech firm plans to release.
At the moment, it is being said that the handset will come in three models, two of which feature a curved display. While this reminds users of Samsung's S6 and S6 Edge releases, the company will apparently be changing things up.
Unlike this year, where the company first released Samsung Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge before releasing the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, the purported Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge and S7 Edge Plus will all be revealed at the same time.
It is unclear when but rumor has it that this will happen as early as January next year. According to reports out of Korea, Samsung will make the announcement about the flagships by Jan. 19 next year, which is a couple of months earlier than the usual.
Previous reports about the Samsung Galaxy S7 hint that majority of the units of the flagship will be powered by an Exynos processor but there will also be units that will be fitted out with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset.
There is also word that Samsung will integrate a 3D Touch-like feature in the handset in the form of Synaptics's newly revealed ClearForce technology, which pretty much works like that of its competition in Cupertino by giving users access to more contextual menus based on the tap's pressure.
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will reportedly sport a 20-MP rear-facing shooter and will have a Type C-USB on board. Looking at how the rumor mill pictures that much about the smartphone, it is safe to think that the Galaxy maker is working on a masterpiece to look forward to.
More details should be revealed soon now that the tech world is mere months away from the alleged launch of the powerful handset.
