In terms of software, the phone will run on Android OS, v6.0.1 or Android Marshmallow. The phone will feature an internal memory of either 32 GB or 64 GB with 3 GB of RAM. As for external memory, the site lists that the MicroSD capacity of the Samsung A8 can reach 256 GB using the SIM 2 slot.

For selfie aficionados, the front camera will feature a 5 MP resolution. However, the primary camera features a 16 MP resolution with OIS, autofocus, and LED flash for sharper images.
