'RHOA' season 10 news: NeNe Leakes panics over husband's heart issues, says Gregg 'has to get better'

Bravo's hit reality show "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" (RHOA) took on a different light this Sunday, with the episode focusing on an emotional NeNe Leakes, a far cry from the dramatic and feisty personality fans have seen in the past seasons and episodes.

Leakes was seen crying as she divulged that his husband, Gregg, was taken to a hospital due to heart complaints and chest pains. Doctors' diagnosis required Gregg to undergo a minor operation to check if he had a blockage resulting to his low heart rate.

"What will they find? Is this something that Gregg's not telling me? I can't even imagine Gregg not walking on this earth. I can't do this. Gregg has to get better," Leakes cried.

In a conversation with co-star Cynthia Bailey, Leakes revealed that Gregg had not been feeling well for the past days, but the recent case was different from usual. Gregg complained of some chest pains when he asked to be rushed to the hospital.

Leakes then divulged that Gregg was looking at a high chance of having a heart problem as his father had "heart issues."

Meanwhile, Bailey explained that Leakes had not seen the bigger picture of a heart problem. "I don't think she's fully grasped how serious any type of heart situation could potentially be. I think NeNe is dealing with the situation with Gregg the best way she knows how to," Bailey added.

Leakes' reaction was probably expected of her as the two had already been married for 18 years, despite separating for two years from 2011-2013. Leakes also shared that she and Gregg had known each other since their 20's and added that the secret to a lasting relationship is to remain to be into each other.

"RHOA" airs every Sunday, at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
