The writers are back at it again on Twitter, teasing "Prison Break" season 5 and the makings of what sounds like a stellar comeback for the beloved series.

When asked what scenes they are excited to watch, the writers answered, "Great stunts, a fantastic performance from Wentworth [Miller], an interaction between [two] characters that's gonna be epic."

They also "suggest" preparing tissues before watching "Prison Break" season 5, teasing that emotions might run high in the when Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) return to the small screen.

The production for "Prison Break" season 5 is still underway. Last week, the cast and crew were working on episode 7. The season has nine episodes so filming should be over soon. Cast members, particularly Amaury Nolasco and Sarah Wayne Callies, who play Sucre and Sara, respectively, have been updating fans of the happenings via their social media. Writers, on the other hand, talked about what these nine episodes have in store.

"For this season, 9 is the final number, but we've packed a lot of awesome in those 9 [episodes]," the writers teased. When asked on the possibility of going beyond "Prison Break" season 5, here's what they had to say:

"We have an ending to the story, but there are always new stories to tell in this world if the demand is there."

They might as well prepare for a continuation since millions will be tuning in to the show. Proof of that is the "Prison Break" season 5 trailer that amassed insane number of views.

Meanwhile, Purcell has been making great recovery following an accident on the set. An iron bar fell on his head and broke his nose "in two places," but it appears that he will pull through in no time.

"Prison Break" season 5 premieres in spring next year.
