PlayStation Plus May 2017 free games list update: A slight change for European gamers

As the month of May kicks in, PlayStation releases its brand-new set of free games. Everybody seems to be excited as they are giving away some of their most amazing titles. What can gamers anticipate this month?

"Tales from the Borderlands" and "Abzu" are two of the six titles available on the PlayStation Plus free games lineup for May 2017 YouTube/PlayStation

One of the highly-anticipated free games this month is the "Tales From the Borderlines." Telltale Games' five-part episode game packs a lot of action for players, especially those who have played "Borderlines 2." The series is set in the world of Pandora, an unmerciful land full of lawless characters. In the game, players will follow the adventures of Rhys and Fiona. The two are paired together, as they try to recover a treasure they believe is meant for them.

If players are tired from the world of "Borderlines," then they can move onto the next free game from the list. "Abzu" is an epic adventure game that will take gamers deep in the ocean. Here, they will encounter many creatures and discover secrets. The game is sure to make the players' sense of adventure alive.

If players are interested in becoming a creature of the night, then the next title from the list may be a good choice. "Bloodknight" is a game developed by Deck13 that will surely bring the character out for every player. In the game, the protagonist is employed as a hunter that will inevitably turn as vampire due to a series of events. Players can switch from single to multiplayer modes. They can also switch between the characters to fully utilize their skills.

However, for European games, there is a slight change.

Rather than getting "Abzu," gamers in Europe will be getting "Alienation" instead. "Alienation" is a game that lets the players control a new breed of soldiers to kill aliens. The game utilizes a classic twin-stick shooting gameplay that will let everybodyenjoy its deep loot system and other objectives.

The list goes on in the PlayStation website for others who want to learn more.
