The English rock band Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds is about to drop their third studio album tomorrow (Nov. 24). The album "Who Built the Moon?" is composed of 13 songs with two bonus tracks under the music label Sour Mash and produced by David Holmes.

The album received a high early rating from AllMusic. The critic gave "Who Built the Moon?" a 9 out of 10 score. Three songs from the album had been released in YouTube with their own music videos. An album trailer was also released on Sept. 24, which has a cosmic theme

During an interview with Vulture, the band's frontman, Noel Gallagher, said "Who Built the Moon?" is his favorite album so far. "There must be 30 or 40 session musicians on this, including backing singers and all that, when I listen to it, I'm thinking, Oh, I've never heard that before" he said.

Gallagher indicated that the album is an experimental one with many instruments. Gallagher announced the album in 2016. Gallagher took a different approach in music production for the album. He explained to NME that he stepped out of his comfort zone to bring something new. The former Oasis guitarist said, "I am writing in the studio for the first time. As a rule, I've not allowed myself to go in with any completed songs." Gallagher said the environment is much more complicated than writing at home. "It's a bit chaotic but the end results are great so far."

"Who Built the Moon?" album can be pre-ordered from the band's official website, Amazon, Spotify, Apple Music, Rough Trade, and HMV.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds 2018 tour schedule has also been released, and fans can start purchasing their tickets. The tour will commence on Feb. 9, 2018 at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Detroit, Michigan.
