There's a lot of speculation and anticipation associated with the new upcoming Nintendo NX console, which is said to launch in March 2017. PCAdvisor mentions that Nintendo has also announced they will not showcase the said console at the ongoing E3 event in Los Angeles for 2016. The new console might just be unveiled much later this year. There are also rumors circulating that they are not going to unveil the new The "Legend of Zelda" game for the Wii U for the same reason- that they are planning to release it at the same time as the Nintendo NX. WCCF Tech also speculates that this new console might not be promoted for the event, but some kind of news about it will be available anyway.

Not much is known about the new console, but there are already several rumors circulating about its build and design. Speculations include the fact that this new console will be as powerful as the PS4, and that the controller itself may have a touchscreen LED display included. Other rumors state that the model controller itself could very well be the NX itself, since there is no telling whether this would be a new device or not.

Other users on the internet claim that the new NX has better performance than the PS4, and could work "like a companion app on a phone". NX is said to be the codename for "next-generation game machine", while a different controller making the rounds on the internet is codenamed MH, for "next-generation portable game machine". Since its release is on 2017, this means that its development is more than 50 percent done.

Yibada also speculates that the Nintendo NX would get its playable demo at the UK's EGX 2016 event. When players were surveyed by EGX organizers as to which console they would like to try out, the NX rated highly, which means there is a good chance that Nintendo might just finally reveal the new NX by this fall.
