Sony has a lot on its hands at the moment. The company can be easily imagined going back and forth to the drawing board to hone the Z4 Tablet into perfection as well as its unannounced sibling, the Xperia Z4. But just recently, the tech world learned that the manufacturer is busy with the Xperia C4 as well.
The purported successor to the Sony Xperia C3 has been a frequent headliner and a constant leak target in the past few days. Not too long ago, press renders of the alleged Xperia C4 handset made the rounds. Now, a live image of the device in action has emerged.
The photo, assuming it is real, relentlessly shows what the Xperia C4 will look like and, as it turns out, it matches how it looks on the press renders. Moreover, its bottom bezel looks significantly smaller than most Xperia phones.
While still unconfirmed, GSM Arena believes that the Xperia C4, which is codenamed Cosmos, is one of the many products to look forward to — that and another one that is only known by its codename, Lavender.
Unfortunately, there are still no available information about the specs and features of the device. But being part of Sony's selfie-centric mid-range lineup, the smartphone should be a selfie brute. After all, the leaked image shows off an LED flash sitting on the front next to the blatantly large snapper.
Apart from that, the Xperia C4 is said to come with three color options — black, white and turquoise. Furthermore, it is expected to get a model number that starts with E53, will run Android Lollipop, and pack a Mediatek processor.
There is still no word regarding the release date, pricing or even its size, but as far as surmises for the latter go, the Sony Xperia C4 may turn up quite big with a 5.5-inch display.
