'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' character roster: Pre-order grants Boruto, Sarada

Naruto's adventures are being retold and re-experienced on the film and video game fronts, and fans will be happy to know that "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will combine these two massive realms.

For those who live in Japan, pre-ordering the final installment in the long-running "Ultimate Ninja" franchise will score them new characters, two of which are Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha from the upcoming "Boruto: Naruto the Movie."

Boruto's and Sarada's respective fathers, Naruto and Sasuke, will also be in the game as how they were seen in "The Last: Naruto the Movie." Another playable character is the Ōtsutsuki matriarch Kaguya, who is known as the first chakra wielder.

Apart from these big new fighters joining the pack, the upcoming game will also grant pre-order patrons three new outfits for Kakashi, Sakura, and Hinata, with the former getting to battle in the Sixth Hokage costume.

CyberConnect2, the developer building the game, aims to make the conclusion of the saga as definitive as it can get. This explains the extensive character roster in the game, with each fighter and their several forms made playable. Just last week, it was revealed that Eight Gates Might Guy is in the mix.

The final installment in the "Ultimate Ninja" game series is set in the Great Shinobi World War, which makes sense of Hashirama's and Madara's inclusion in the installment. Obito, who is closely connected to the latter during this event, is also a playable character in the title.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" allows players to change the leader during combat and reintroduces the Ultimate Jitsu system. The game is set to be released for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC in fall.
