Albeit Naruto's storyline already concluded, the widely-followed anime still continues as it rolls out story arcs for other equally popular characters within the lore. With that said, episode 484 of "Naruto Shippuden" is said to feature the story of Naruto's friend and at the same time toughest rival — Sasuke.

Reports say that that the new arc will be based on a book titled "Sasuke Shinden: The Book of Sunrise." As the title suggests, the 224-page book tells the story of Sasuke's exploits after the Great Ninja War as well as his epic scuffle with Naruto.

Rumor has it is that the upcoming episode will feature the younger Uchiha's attempt to avenge his family after they were killed off by his elder kin, Itachi. It may also depict the time that he went soul-searching to contemplate on the things he did against his friends and his hometown.

However, it's quite uncertain as to how many episodes Sasuke's story arc would run, though some believe that it might have a four-episode stint. It is said that two episodes have already been given titles namely "Sasuke Shinden: Book of Sunrise — The Detonating Man" and "Sasuke Shinden: Book of Sunrise — Colosseum."

Reports speculate that a four-episode arc seems plausible, given that Itachi's story based on the 500-page novel titled "Itachi's Story: Light and Darkness" was previously included in "Naruto Shippuden" as a filler arc that ran for eight episodes.

Apart from this, it is also believed that after Sasuke's story, the anime will resume with a couple more storylines that are said to feature Shikamaru and the town of Konoha, though, this has yet to be confirmed. Until an official announcement is made, readers should take it with a grain of salt.

"Naruto Shippuden" episode 484 is expected to air on Dec. 1.
