Nexus 6 launches in six more markets

Google's Nexus 6 Google site

Google has made the Motorola Nexus 6 available in six markets that were not able to see the device when it was launched. Users in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Norway and Portugal can now get the oversized smartphone, thanks to the new Google Store there. Now, the Nexus 6 is for the taking in 21 countries.

Admittedly, the Nexus 6 is not the newest device there is. In fact, it was released back in October last year. Since then, several smartphones have already graced the tech ground. Nevertheless, it is still one mighty Nexus offering that always seems to be a good choice for a mobile companion.

The device comes in such a hefty package: a 6-inch Quad HD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels and 493 ppi pixel density. It performs fast enough with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor set at 2.7 GHz under its hood. It also offers 32 and 64 GB flavors complemented with a strapping 3 GB RAM.

Camera-wise, it packs in a 13-megapixel rear-facing shooter with optical image stabilization, dual-LED flash and high definition recording. For the selfie fix, the Nexus 6 got that covered with its 2-megapixel snapper. The device comes in Midnight Blue and Cloud White.

With the massive handset's 3220 mAh battery, users should be able to use it for a whole day. Juicing it up is wireless, too. And because it is a Nexus device, the latest Android software dive in there first. Google just brought the Android 5.1 Lollipop update to the giant handset.

Upon its release five months ago, the flagship instantly became a hit, thus the supply immediately ran out. Google has not given word about the Nexus 6's launch in other regions that have yet to see it in the flesh.
