Even before the third-gen Moto G (2015) is made official, there are already copious leaks proving its existence, but the latest of them has to be the biggest one yet. It includes a set of 3D renderings, showing in high resolution every side and every angle of the upcoming mid-range smartphone.

As depicted in the images, the new Moto G hasn't changed much on the outside. The same two grills are plastered on the front but it remains to be seen if one will function as a speaker and the other as earpiece as this is what they were designed for in the previous Moto G entry. It has a 3.5 mm audio jack as well.

Noticeable alterations include a new design plate on the back where the rear camera and the dimple with the Motorola logo are conjoined, although the Lenovo-owned tech firm maintains its signature curves and lines. Interestingly, the device in the leaked images looks a little bit thick.

The Moto G (3rd Gen) is said to run Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Overall, the design looks solid. It is important to note that the leaks, which originated from the France-based website Nowhereelse.fr, remain unfounded so it's best to take them with a pinch of salt.

In the previous leaks, the third generation Moto G is said to come with a 5-inch 720p display, which its predecessor also had. One major upgrade is said to be its 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz to power it up instead of the previous Snapdragon 400 processor.

It will reportedly stick with 1 GB RAM and storage space is likely to start at 8 GB, although another exciting boost in the Moto G 2015 is in the imaging department in the form of a more powerful 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. Its predecessor only had an 8-megapixel primary snapper.

The Moto G (3rd Gen), if Motorola follows the same release pattern, will be out to dazzle in fall.
