The "Mortal Kombat X" arena will run red with more combatants joining the big and brutal ensemble. The latest trailers released by Warner Bros. Interactive have introduced four new fighters that will be playable in the latest iteration of the legendary fighting franchise.

First is the official introduction of Erron Black. The Wild West gunslinger was first rumored to join the pack when he showed up in the second volume of the "Mortal Kombat X" companion comic book series. Black works as a bounty hunter who came across some magical items in the Outworld, which is why in the battlefield, he can shoot down his opponent or blast them with magical sand that blows up.

Another new fighter introduced is Kung Jin, Kung Lao's descendant. He was introduced via an international trailer published by Maxim Russia. The video also details a storyline involving the newcomer and his kin.

"Raiden's champions of Earthrealm from the past have risen from the dead, under the control of the sinister former Elder God, Shinnok," the description for the trailer reads.

Speaking of which, Shinnok was also confirmed as a playable character in "Mortal Kombat X." In the arena, the fallen Elder God can mimic his opponent's abilities, beckon a giant skeletal arm that can trounce, grab and fling opponents, and can summon a bone scythe that can knock down his foes in more ways than one.

Lastly, the classic combatant Liu Kang will be making a jump into the "Mortal Kombat X" field. The legendary warrior can never go on without his iconic flying kick. In the game, he will also be able to do a backhand punch and, oftentimes, a flurry of those blows. He can shoot fireballs and of course, give his opponent a taste of his signature bicycle kick.

"Mortal Kombat X" will land on the PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 14. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will arrive by summer.
