Phil's (Ty Burrell) family will finally do something about their duckling problems in the upcoming episode of "Modern Family" season 7.

In the upcoming episode titled "Spread Your Wings," Claire (Julie Bowen), Luke (Nolan Gould), and Haley (Sarah Hyland) will finally do something to expel the ducks that Phil is currently crazy about. The Dunphys will take advantage of Phil's scheduled visit to Alex's (Ariel Winter) college so they can execute their plan to leave the ducklings' nest open and let them finally fly away from home.

Could this solve the Dunphys problems, or will it cause them another dilemma with Phil?

Meanwhile, Jay (Ed O'Neill) will give a helping hand to his son Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) to make sure that Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) will have a grand time with her friends from the Vietnamese dance troupe during their sleepover party that will be held at their place.

The official synopsis for the upcoming "Modern Family" season 7 episode reads:

"Sick of having the ducklings around the house, Claire and the kids seize an opportunity to help expedite the ducks leaving the nest while Phil is off visiting Alex at college. Meanwhile, Jay helps Mitch with Lily's sleepover with her friends from her Vietnamese dance troupe; and Gloria and Cam are off on a hot pepper heist carefully orchestrated by Manny in order to meet a big hot sauce delivery deadline."

In the previous episode of "Modern Family" season 7, Jay and his wife Gloria (Sofia Vergara) spent their own time with friends they just met when Gloria arranged a playdate between Joe (Jeremy Maguire) and the son of a couple who she believes share the same interests with her and Jay. However, Jay was offended when he realized that the husband is probably in his 80s.

"Modern Family" season 7 episode 11 airs on Wednesday, Jan. 13, on ABC.
