'Mass Effect 4' release details, game update: characters made with 'insane' amount of detail

Mass Effect 4 Bioware

Bioware has recently reached a milestone for "Mass Effect 4," proving that the game is shaping up quite nicely. Now, the developers at the game studio have been quite chatty about what they have been up to lately with the upcoming game.

"Mass Effect" Senior Development Director Chris Wynn took to Twitter to reveal some exciting bits about the game, such as characters made with an "insane" amount of detail. With his choice of words to describe what has gone down with the characters, the title should be one formidable installment. Besides, Wynn tweeted that he has been "busy showing and telling the latest Mass Effect progress to the team."

The fact that Bioware has gotten so good at doing titles like this assures that "Mass Effect 4" will be worth the wait. Also, thanks to the game studio's enthusiasm in keeping gamers up to date, that idea is further bolstered.

Additionally, the Frostbite engine on which the game runs is not at all making things hard for the folks at the game studio. In fact, according to Wynn, the engine is "doing just fine, just fine indeed."

As promised, the title will be home to new and unexplored regions in the galaxy, which is packed with characters of various forms and shapes. Furthermore, with the utilization of the space exploration vehicle Mako, discovering these various locales and species will become easier.

Unfortunately, "Mass Effect 4" still has no release date. Actually, the developer is also busy with a "secret IP." Bioware Senior Creative Director Preston Watamaniuk revealed that they have made "great progress on some complicated design issues," adding that the next installment in the series looks "amazing."
