'Married at First Sight' season 4 spoilers: Couples tested on their trust in next episode

After the last episode revealed that Nick and Sonia were intimate with each other despite saying that they went only so far as to kiss, it seems that there may yet be hope for the pair after they each went to Pastor Cal Robertson for some advice.

The couple — who visited in separate sessions — explained their versions of their issues to the pastor, reported IBTimes.

While Nick felt that he wasn't as attracted to his wife as he should be, Sonia told Cal that she felt that her husband hated her, spilling the beans that she felt hurt especially after they have been intimate.

After Cal got to the bottom of the matter, viewers learned that the two had been intimate and that Nick wanted to keep it private for the sake of his wife, which earned him some positive points. The pair were given an assignment by Pastor Cal but at the end of the episode, Sonia was still not ready to move back in.

Heather and Derek, on the other hand, are headed for divorce, leaving the only other couple Tom and Lillian to deal with their own issues.

In the previous episode, it was revealed that while Lillian is looking towards planning and building a future with her husband, she was unsure if Tom was on the same page. Tom said that instead of worrying about the future, he would much rather deal with the present.

In the dozenth episode of the show's fourth season entitled "To Love and To Cherish," the three couples will be tested on how much they trust each other. Tom and Lillian, Nick and Sonia, and Derek and Heather will undergo a test to determine their trust in their partners, reported TV Guide.

"Married at First Sight" season 4 airs every Tuesday at 8:45 p.m. EDT on FYI.
