Manny Pacquiao net worth 2015: How much after Floyd Mayweather fight tonight?

Tonight, history will be made as boxing rivals and legendary fighters Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will finally meet head to head, nose to nose and fist to fist inside the ring to settle the burning quest for greatness. And with a bout as massive as this long awaited and ever demanded battle, how much difference will it make on Pacquiao's net worth?

Just how much money the Pacquiao-Mayweather battle in the MGM Grand Garden Arena will generate is still unknown but it is, presumably enormous (the type of enormous that breaks records)and the fighters will split it 60 to 40, meaning Mayweather is bagging the bigger stash. The estimation is at $300 million taking into account all Pay-Per-View sales, which puts Pacquiao at $120 million.

If this is accurate, then the Filipino boxer will see his earnings increase to a whopping $425 million. A portion of his purse from his battle with Mayweather tomorrow will actually be given to Pacquiao regardless of the number of viewers that will pay $89.95 (standard definition) and $99.95 (high definition). Bob Arum has already told New York Times that Pacquiao will at least receive $50 million.

In a nutshell, the "fistory" will bring Pacquiao to a whole new level in his boxing career, not just in terms of his experience in the ring but as well as his net worth. After May 2, PacMan will join the ranks of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Roger Federer, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and even his opponent Mayweather, who netted more than $400 million in the course of their sports career.

Tomorrow, the world will know if Pacquiao's record of losses will add up or Mayweather's immaculate boxing record will be tainted. The clash will be witnessed across the globe and Arum estimates that PPV sales will be at 3.15 million.
