Famous pop star Justin Bieber has turned a new leaf, and many people are grateful and amazed by the transformation he has experienced. One of those people is Bieber's manager Scooter Braun, who revealed that the singer would have died if he hadn't dedicated his life to Christ.

"As I started to see it going in the wrong direction, I started to prepare. I put deals in place where he was protected for the long run," Braun said in an interview with New York Times. "And I started to prepare my company to scale, because I was not going to let him work. [After Journals, Bieber's 2013 digital compilation,] he wanted to tour, and I honestly at that time felt, if he toured, he could die."

The celebrity performer is known to be someone who has gotten in trouble with the law very frequently for reckless behaviour, drug use and scandalous living, but when reports came in that Bieber was baptised by Hillsong NYC Pastor Carl Lentz, things started turning around for the artist.

Ever since then, Bieber has been openly confessing his relationship with God to the general public. In one occasion, he preached in front of a crowd of thousands of fans in the Staples Centre Arena as Judah Smith, who is said to be Bieber's pastor, sat next to him.

Bieber's newfound faith is tied directly with a new album titled "Purpose," a record filled with themes of Christian spirituality that it has been banned in some countries, according to Charisma News, for being too religious.

Braun adds that he is grateful for seeing change in Bieber's ways, saying, "...it's a hard thing to watch someone you care and genuinely love go through that. I'm really, really happy that's over."

Braun is the owner of SB Projects, a talent management company that oversees affairs and projects for artists like Bieber, Ariana Grande, Carly Rae Jepsen and many others.
