Joyce Meyer shares how we can shake off fear and doubt in pursuit of our dreams

Joyce Meyer wants Christians to shake off the doubts they have against the Word of God and trust that He will always take care of His people.

Popular Christian speaker and author Joyce Meyer is giving tips on how people can overcome fear and doubt with the help of God.

She wrote a column for the Christian Post entitled "Got Doubt? Why You Should Step Out in Faith." In it, she stressed how much God loves boldness and confidence among His people.

"He wants us to be confident of His love for us. He wants us to know without a doubt that we are made right with Him through the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross — especially on those days when we feel unworthy of His love," she said.

Meyer explained that to live boldly means people should try new things in faith and explore their God-given dreams and passions without letting doubt cloud their judgment.

Doubt can cause people to think if they made the right decision or not, but if people let God speak to their hearts before making a decision, then doubt can be eliminated. At the same time, they should remember that God is always on their side, no matter what happens.

"Sometimes it becomes very clear what God wants us to do; other times it's less obvious. But before you jump ahead, give God a chance to speak to your heart," she said.

Meyer then shared the Bible verses James 1:5 to 6 which says: "If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, Who gives to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given to him. Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering."

God wants to help His people, and people can find comfort in the fact that He will never leave them nor forsake them. God is always faithful to His Word, said Meyer, and all people have to do is ask and they shall receive.

"If you can do that, there's no telling what God will make happen in your life," she said.
