Fans of contemporary Christian artist Josh Wilson are already looking forward to his new album but they are about to get a unique opportunity to boost their memorabilia collection with the release of limited edition Josh Wilson Diet Pepsi cans.

The singer, songwriter and musician, who is currently travelling the US on his Need You Now Fall Tour , will be featured in Pepsi MidAmerica's campaign wherein his image will be featured on 3 million cans of Diet Pepsi.

The cans, which will be available in the Midwest, will also feature free download codes for one of Wilson's most successful singles "Carry Me," which talks of Christ who carries the faithful through each ordeal. The song is part of an album with the same name which garnered positive reviews from music critics for its upbeat style, versatility and emotional components.

Wilson, whose compelling tracks have connected him to fans of all ages, was selected by the soda brand to become part of their Christian Artist Series, a campaign which seeks to showcase remarkable talents in the Christian music genre.

The Christian Artist series started in 2013 as part of Pepsi's commitment to supporting the industry.

Twenty five million cans will be released this year featuring Christian stars. As with previous sets, the cans will carry positive messages of hope and inspiration.

"After receiving a great response last year, I am thrilled to once again share these unique artists with our consumers. I look forward to the impact these cans and the message they carry will have in the market," Pepsi President Lee Crisp said during the unveiling of the latest batch of artists to partner with them.

Wilson joins the ranks of fellow Christian artists like TobyMac, Colton Dixon, Matthew West, Matt Maher and Francesca Battistelli, Bitt Nicole, Casting Crowns and King and Country.
