The cliffhanger in the finale of "Jane the Virgin" season 2 has left fans reeling from all the major reveals and heart-pounding moments. According to EW's interview with Jennie Snyder Urman, the showrunner for the series, fans will finally find out whether Michael recovers from his bullet wound.

Jane (Gina Rodriguez) might also finally lose her virginity in the middle of the third season. Fans will also find out more about Xo (Andrea Navedo) being pregnant and what she will plan to do with the baby. This series has already made its cast go through multiple twists and turns so far, which is why fans are eager to keep learning more about the fates of the characters they have grown attached to.

According to Ecumenical News, Xo is going to have to deal with a difficult pregnancy. She might want to get back together with Rogelio (Jaime Camil), but Urman has confirmed that the father of her unborn child is Esteban (Keller Wortham). This might mean that Xo would have to consider abortion as an option, since she has already explicitly stated several times that she doesn't want to raise another kid after Jane.

Meanwhile, Brett Dier, the actor playing Michael, has told Bustle about his guesses as to what might happen to his character, who got shot in the final episode of season 2. According to the actor, Michael will most likely survive. However, he might not be the same Michael that Jane knows, and that he would have to recover from PTSD because of everything that's happened to him. This might cause problems in his newlywed life with Jane. According to the actor, this character is the kind who will experience a lot of growth throughout the series.

A few teasers also suggest some type of reconciliation between Jane and Rafael (Justin Baldoni). It can't be helped, since they're both parents, but Rafael's fluttering love life might cause more awkwardness and trouble for his relationship with Jane. HOFMag suggests that season 3 may give more information on Petra's familial ties and Marbella's fate. They have yet to reveal when season 3 will be released, but rest assured this series won't fail to keep fans on their toes.
