Fans who are waiting to learn more about the eldest Duggar daughter, Jana, will be disappointed to learn that the rumored spin-off supposedly focusing on her life is not happening.

In January, rumors about a Jana-centric spin-off series circulated after Radar Online reported that that the manager of the shop Ridout Lumber in Fayetteville, Arkansas revealed that the 26-year-old would be filming on their property.

"The production company from Nashville called me last week, it was the day before they wanted to come in and film. Then the normal camera guy for the family called me and then John David did," the facility manager explained.

Jana was also prominently featured in a previous episode of UP TV's "Bringing Up Bates," where she was part of the bridal entourage of Michaella Bates, a member of the other large reality-show family that has been friends with the Duggars for years. This incited the speculations that the twin sister of John David Duggar will finally step out of her shell and start a new show of her own.

But the Duggar family refuted the rumor on their official blog.

"We know that fans are eager to see this super-sized clan reclaim its place in the TLC lineup, but we want to encourage everyone to proceed with caution when reading the tabloids," reps of the popular reality-show family wrote.

The blog also mentioned that there is no official announcement from either the Duggar family or TLC about the possibility of having a new spin-off series after the "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" show. But they promised that they will announce any development as soon as it happens.

The clamor to see more of Jana's life intensified as her younger siblings began to get married. Fans are waiting to find out if she will follow her younger sisters Jill and Jessa, who are already married and have their own families.
