October was touted to be the last chance for Apple fans to see refreshed renders of the company's devices but instead, the event only focused on Mac products. With that said, the Apple faithful are now looking forward to next year as they wonder about which devices the company will be releasing, hoping that it will include the almost forgotten tablet lineup — the iPad Pro.

The iPad product line is just one of the brands that were left out in the cold by the company after it was snubbed by Apple keynote after keynote this year. However, things might change in 2017 as reports suggest that a major revamp will be coming to Apple's devices which include the aforementioned tablet roster.

The highly regarded Apple insider, Ming-Chi Kuo mentioned beforehand that the company is considering the production of three iPad variants in the future. What made it more interesting is his statement hinting on the possible application of the revolutionary bendable AMOLED screen that is also rumored to be seen in other devices such as future renders of the iPhone. Moreover, it's noteworthy to mention that next year will be the iPhone's 10th anniversary.

The refreshed render of the iPad Pro could be one of the toughest contenders to beat in the 2-in-1 arena as it is also speculated to be bezel-less provided that speculations in the rumor mill would come to fruition. In addition, this massive update to the iPad Pro could arrive by 2018.

Having mentioned that, it's more likely that fans of the 2-in-1 slab will be waiting for another year before they can finally grab ahold of new iPad Pro 2. Despite Kuo's high batting average, these rumors and speculations should be taken with a pinch of salt.
