'I will never get Twitter' - Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence may be popular and widely-talked-about, but she doesn't spend time trying to read or see what people say on social media. The 24-year old actress isn't a fan of the platform, and says she's not going to have a Twitter or Instagram account.

In an interview with BBC Radio 1, she told host Nick Grimshaw, "I will never get Twitter. I'm not very good on phone or technology. I cannot really keep up with emails so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me."

"I don't really understand what it is," she added. "It's like this weird enigma that people talk about... If you ever see a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that says it's me, it most certainly is not."

E! Online does point out that Lawrence has a legitimate Facebook page, although it's presumably run by her people, not by the actress herself.

Lawrence was with co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth during the interview, promoting their movie "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1." During the talk, Grimshaw presented a photo to the actors showing a life-sized cake of Lawrence in full Katniss Everdeen regalia. The cake is 5-foot-11-inches tall and reportedly costs $950.

Lawrence said, "But seriously, if the girl who made that's listening, you're incredibly talented."

British baker Lara Clarke who owns Tasty Cakes bakery spent two and a half months making the fancy confection using 22 pounds of flour and butter and 150 eggs. Her masterpiece won her gold in the decorative exhibit category in this year's Cake International in Birmingham, England.

Clarke posted on her Facebook page, "Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson just called me amazing on Radio1... Me?"

She also posted, "Awesome comments from THE Jennifer Lawrence."

Unfortunately, Lawrence isn't into social media, so someone has to inform her what the talented British baker said.
