Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) is obviously still in pain in the latest trailer for "How To Get Away with Murder" season 2 midseason premiere.
In the promo clip, the ferocious criminal lawyer, who also works as a law school professor, was seen limping towards her home. She is followed by her staff Bonnie Winterbottom (Liza Weil), who picked her up from the hospital.
Annalise immediately notices that her couch became a makeshift bed and thought that it will be used by a nurse. But Bonnie corrects her straightaway, saying that the couch is meant for her since the doctor advised her to avoid using the stairs for the meantime. Bonnie also reminds her of all her medicines and tries to help her remove her jacket.
However, Annalise declines. Instead, she asks for the time of their next courtroom hearing. Bonnie tells her that they can move the schedule if she is still not strong enough to work, but Annalise says that she did not plot the shooting to let it go to waste. Annalise also asks if her Keating 5 students are alright, and Bonnie says that all of them are fine. At the end of the clip, Annalise asks how Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) is doing.
Meanwhile, aside from Annalise's mysterious past relationship with Wes, it seems like she and Laurel (Karla Souza) are also connected, according to Movie News Guide.
Annalise knows a very vital information about Laurel's father. She could eventually use it to blackmail Laurel if needed. Laurel will then realize that the group of students that Annalise chose were picked strategically, and their professor knows more about them than she would like them to believe.
"How To Get Away with Murder" season 2 will resume on Thursday, Feb. 11, on ABC.
