After being rumored that she and her ex, Matthew Koma, were mending broken fences, former "Lizzie McGuire" actress Hilary Duff confirmed that they were giving their relationship a third chance.
The "So Yesterday" singer, during her guesting at "The Talk," revealed that she and her ex-boyfriend were again trying to work things out, citing Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber's rumored reconciliation. Duff also added that everything was working well on her current relationship.
"I think that you have history and a past with someone and love, and just because it doesn't work out the first time, the second time, as long as there's not too much damage done, then, it can always work out again," the 30-year-old divulged.
Duff also went on to say that timing has played an important role in the relationship and quipped, "Third time's a charm!" As if to further announce their reconciliation, the "What Dreams Are Made Of" singer and the music producer were seen smooching after getting coffee, which was a sight easily taken advantage of by photographers.
Duff and Koma had long been sparking reconciliation rumors, with one source saying that it was highly likely because the two had been spending a lot of time together, much like nothing had changed in their relationship.
"Him being gone on tour was the main reason things didn't work out the first time around, so now that he's back, they picked up right where they left off," the insider revealed. The reconciliation announcement might also be happily received by Duff's family and friends, as a source claimed that they like Koma so much.
Before getting back with Koma, Duff was publicly seen with Ely Sandvik, SOLr Energy Consulting CEO. They were seen catching waves, as well as sharing a kiss in Malibu, California, in July. Witnesses said the singer and Sandvik looked happy during their escapade.
