It's been over a year now but 343 Industries' acclaimed space shooter, "Halo 5: Guardians" is still leaving fans in awe with its stunning visuals and unending mayhem. As of late, there are now reports implying that a sequel to the said title is currently in the works seemingly based on the cryptic hints that the game maker previously dished out.

Fans of the "Halo" video game series were given some kind of treat a few weeks back as the franchise celebrated its 15th year of existence. During the event, which was streamed live on Twitch, the developer broadcasted their own rendition of the trending Mannequin Challenge. The video featured 343's staff frozen in the moment capturing some of their goofiest poses. One scene, however, caused quite a stir among the "Halo" faithful as one of them held an alleged transcript for "Halo's" sixth installment.

"Halo" players who got to see the short clip expressed their thoughts about it and said that this has been the game developer's whim whenever they have something in store for the fans and to establish the needed hype for the said project at the same time. Moreover, this could be a part of the game maker's marketing strategy for them to see how gamers would react to it.

Meanwhile, 343 Industries' franchise development director for "Halo," Frank O'Connor, previously revealed that they were in the preliminary stages of the production of the next "Halo" episode. However, he further explained that they were still uncertain as to what will be the plot of the new game. At that time, he said that they were currently writing its storyline whenever they got the chance to do so.

Additional information about the game remains scarce as of late and fans need to be on the lookout for the freshest news about "Halo 6."
