Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton news: Stefani confesses Shelton is her second boyfriend, inspiration behind 'Make Me Like You'

Gwen Stefani has always been candid about her relationship with "The Voice" co-judge Blake Shelton ever since they went public about being together. Now, she has confessed that Shelton is actually her second boyfriend.

Speaking to K Earth 101 via a phone interview, the "Make Me Like You" singer somehow revealed that she doesn't really have a type when it comes to dating, because she only had two boyfriends in her life.

"You know I've only had two boyfriends right?" Stefani said. "When you say that it sounds so funny because it's so limited," she continued.

Stefani was married to Bush lead singer, Gavin Rossdale for more than 10 years and they got divorced last year. Before Rossdale, she had a relationship with her No Doubt bandmate Tony Kanal for seven years. This makes Shelton officially her second boyfriend.

The 46-year-old "Used to Love You" singer also revealed that her new single "Make Me Like You" is about Shelton.

Talking to Jimmy Kimmel on his show this week, Stefani confirmed that the song, which she performed at the recently concluded Grammy Awards, is about the country artist. It doesn't come as a surprise since the song does describe someone who has gone through a heartbreak but is starting to fall in love again.

As the song goes, "I was free before I met you. I was broken but free. All alone in the clear view, but now you are all I see."

Shelton and Stefani continue to show everyone that they are so into each other. Just recently at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala, the two were spotted cuddling that actor Sylvester Stallone even told them jokingly to "get a room," Showbiz 411 reported.

The report added that the couple could not seem to get enough of each other; Stefani was seen sitting on her beau's lap for the most part of the event.
