'GTA Online Ill-Gotten Gains Update: Part 2' release date next month, special vinyls up for grabs

 Rockstar

Game studio Rockstar has finally revealed when exactly "GTA Online" gamers will see the highly-anticipated Part 2 of the "Ill-Gotten Gains" DLC, and it did so with an announcement of new "Welcome to Los Santos" vinyl collectibles, which is part of the upcoming expansion.

Gamers age 18 and above can snag one for free by entering the contest here before June 30. Rockstar will be giving away five vinyls, which feature original music from artists including Earl Sweatshirt, Phantogram, Popcaan, Little Dragon, Killer Mike, Tunde Adebimpe and Samuel T. Herring from Future Islands.

Rockstar will not offer the vinyls for purchase and in places "where prohibited," which gives an idea just how much of a treasure these goodies are and how lucky the winners will be.

As for what the "Ill-Gotten Gains Update: Part 2" has in store for gamers, fans can expect to get new, bragging weapons. Rumor has it there will be a brass knuckle and a pistol included. There will also be new stuff that scream luxury and indulgence.

The first part of the DLC brought expensive cars and helicopters as well as premium apartments and flats. It also made a posh new set of accessories, gears and clothes available.

It remains to be seen if Rockstar will also hold a special weekend for "Ill-Gotten Gains Update: Part 2." During this affair, Rockstar slashes the price of select items and goodies. But what's clear is that by the time July steps in, there will be new stuff to see and play in "GTA Online."

The Welcome to Las Santos Vinyl contest will end on June 30, so for those who want to own the "genre-spanning collection" have to act fast.
