The war with the Wesen turns global in the next episode of "Grimm" season 5.

In the promo teaser for the episode called "Wesen Nacht," Nick (David Giuntoli) and Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) warn Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) that a large-scale war between humans and the Wesen is starting to reach international levels. This means that they should act fast in order to stop the Wesen in spreading destruction.

Nick managed to save Trubel from her kidnappers in the previous episode of "Grimm" season 5. However, viewers of the show have no idea about the real reason behind her abduction.

Toboni shared information about her character in a recent phone interview with WNY Papers. According to the actress, the mysteries surrounding Trubel will start to unfold.

Some of the secrets that will be revealed about Trubel include her quest to help Josh (Lucas Near-Verbrugghe) to get adjusted in the world of the Wesen.

But it seems like Trubel's life is in danger and fans will finally find out why in the upcoming episode.

"You're about to learn so much about Trubel that, for me, as an actor, happened in the middle of last season," Toboni shared. "When I leave after episode seven in season four, I go off and do my own thing. It kind of fuels the rest of season five. And so, this has sat with me for a really long time."

Viewers of the show will also find out why she suddenly wore expensive clothes and owned a high-end BMW motorcycle. "What's interesting - what the audience is about to learn tonight - there's a lot that they're going to learn about Trubel and where she's been," the actress said.

Meanwhile, rumors claim that Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) will be in peril in "Grimm" Season 5 episode 6. Will he be able to survive this new threat?

"Grimm" Season 5 episode 6 airs Friday, Dec. 11, on NBC.
